Freedom from guilt
Ordinary people often feel guilty and ashamed when they fail to live up to the expectations of their parents, teachers, or religious beliefs
Loving, ordinary parents feel guilty for not being able to fulfill their children's desires.
Likewise, children feel guilty for not living up to their parents' expectations.
We may feel guilt towards friends, or in the workplace, where one might betray a colleague just to survive.
Because of this guilt, people sometimes let others take advantage of them, unable to say no to unreasonable demands out of a sense of obligation.
Those with malicious intent often exploit the guilt of good-hearted people to satisfy their own selfish desires.
And well-meaning people weighed down by guilt, may inadvertently turn those around them into selfish individuals as well.
Religious people may fear going to hell if they fail to live by their faith's teachings, haunted by guilt.
If you look closely at where your guilt comes from, it becomes clear that it's nothing more than a false feeling, created when you fail to follow the beliefs and customs.
Recorded in your mind from what you saw, heard, and felt as you grew up.
Ultimately, even a person's conscience is simply a collection of emotions created by their own thoughts - an illusion.
That's why two people can experience the same event yet feel different levels of guilt.
Some may feel none at all, while others are burdened deeply by it.
So, guilt is shaped by how you internalize the beliefs and customs of your environment.
If you identify your guilt and let go of the self that created it. it disappears.
Through this process, you realize that the guilt tormenting you is an illusion.
Even the concept of sin is a human construct.
By releasing guilt, you come to understand the difference between real and false sin.
True sin is found in our mind, in our beliefs, customs, and identification with the body.
That is the real sin.
I used to find it hard to understand the religious teachings that say "Human beings are sinners".
However, through the practice of discarding my mind and self, I came to understand what this means, and I came to accept why some scriptures call humanity sinful.
People create their own sins with their beliefs and customs, suffering in the graves they dug for themselves.
By completely discarding yourself and being be born in Truth, you can achieve human completion and be free from all original sin and personal sin.
True sin is simply not wanting to become Truth.
