Am I really lacking?
Am I really lacking,
or is it a false belief that I need to let go of?
Please take a moment and close your eyes.
Ask yourself, 'Do you think you are lacking?'
If so, reflect on where this belief
comes from in your life.
What experiences made you believe
you were not good enough?
Was it failing to meet your parents' expectations?
Poor academic performance?
Having a job that is not recognized
as important by social norms?
Comparing yourself to others plays a big role.
If your parents compared you to siblings
when you were young,
that impact may be deeper than you think.
Throughout life, you may have compared
yourself to others
who are more attractive, more talented,
better off or more successful.
Without realizing it,
these comparisons may have created
a sense of inadequacy within you.
But value is not relative; it is absolute.
People's value should not be measured
by comparison with others
or by society's standards.
Our very existence speaks for our value.
We must recognize our own value
and share it with others.
Do not get drawn into negative thoughts.
Let them go, discover your shining value,
and see it in others as well.
