Everything is my fault.
When something goes wrong, people tend to blame and resent others,
but the whole of one's life itself exists because his self exists.
Therefore, if one were to take a close look at the conditions through which everything came to be, one would find that such conditions are due to one's own fault.
Furthermore, the reason why one has hatred towards others is because one has hatred inside him.
Everything in this world exists because "I" exist.
When he acknowledges that everything is his own fault that he has only himself to blame and in effect repents, then he will achieve enlightenment, he becomes free of them all.
To the people who hate me
thank you for teaching me that I have hatred in my mind.
To my enemies
thank you for teaching me that I have enemies remaining in my mind.
To the people who nag me and scold me
thank you for teaching me that I have a nagging and scolding in my mind.
When I see faults in others
I know that those faults are in me and I am thankful.
If there is an uneasiness of this and that in my mind
I am thankful for that mind.
