The narrower the mind, the stronger the ego.
Self-esteem and ego are two sides of the confidence coin.
Self-esteem is a healthy acceptance of yourself, flaws, and all. It's knowing your worth without needing to prove it.
Ego, on the other hand,
is a fragile mask used to hide insecurity.
It craves validation
and resorts to boasting or manipulation to feel superior.
A person with healthy self-esteem is adaptable.
They don't insist on their own opinions and respect the viewpoints of others.
However, a person driven by ego is defensive.
They feel threatened by differing viewpoints,
see disagreement as a personal attack,
and struggle to accept they might be wrong.
A person with healthy self-esteem has a broad mind and avoids conflicts with others.
Conversely, a person with a strong ego is narrow-minded. They are always ready to argue with anybody.
If you think, I am great and right,
why don't people follow me?
it's because of your ego.
Ego isn't truth.
What's not truth fails to attract people
but pushes them away.
It's time to reflect on yourself and discard that false ego.
