One's Burdens

One's Burdens

One must shoulder burdens.

One must shoulder burdens if
he is not of nature's flow.

One shoulders burdens because
he defies the laws of Heaven.

One is good at shouldering one's burdens.

What one knows are all his burdens.

He is under the false impression that he has wisdom,
but what he has is nothing more than burdens.

Man teaches man knowledge,
but what he is doing is putting a burden
on another person's shoulders.

One would have to shoulder nothing
if he knew nothing,
if he had nothing,
and if he himself were no more.

Man carries his own burdens,
unwilling to be free of them.

He acts superior even though
he knows nothing about
departures and arrivals,
or existence and non-existence.

Though it is a non-existent life,
he lives thinking it is real;
he lives bound to it,
trembling with anxiety, anger, and greed.

But he does not try to break free from it;
instead he carries all of his burdens
in his attempt to have everything.

We Must Come Out From The Shadows, The Illusions, Into The World

We Must Come Out From The Shadows,

The Illusions, Into The World

Man has the mind of shadows,
and he lives in a shadow of the world.

Man thinks he is living in the world,
but he is not, because he takes pictures of the world
and on the stage of that mind of pictures,
he lives according to what is scripted in this mind,
as a slave to it.

Since he lives with this mind,
he is just an extra in a tragic play on that stage.

In this mind, there are all sorts of things:
there is this and that, judgment and discrimination,
aging, sickness, life and death,
the five desires and seven sins;
there is coming and going, cold and hot,
high and low, the great and the inferior.

It is a particularly difficult life,
because he is staging his opera on a fake stage.

Man thinks that he lives in the world because he is great,
but the world comes first, and he should be ashamed
for stealing everything in the world after being born in that world.

He should have just lived, as he was made and placed in the world-
what need was there to steal what belongs to the world
to make his own picture world?

This has only ever increased man's suffering and burden
and stopped him from living with freedom.

Your stage is not real but fake and a picture.

If you think about the fact that you are living in a picture,
isn't it clear that it is terrible and without life;
that it is illusionary?

If you escape from the illusionary stage,
and come out and live in the world of Truth,
you will have no worries,
and you will have the freedom of freedoms.

Such a life sets everyone and everything in the world free.

All human thoughts are pictures and illusions,
and they are all useless.

They are all futile delusions,
and even the fact that you are living is a delusion,
so you must come out from your mind world,
in order for you to live.

10-Hour Running Training: Kep 53km Run Completion (KKRC) Review

10-Hour Running Training: Kep 53km Run Completion (KKRC) Review

I finally achieved a big item on my bucket list! This was a 10-hour running training, covering a 10km loop that includes both the uphill and downhill sections of Kep National Park and the flat seaside road. I took part in the 10H Running Event hosted by KKRC, Cambodia's largest running club.

๐ŸŒ… The Journey Begins: Phnom Penh to Kep

The challenge began early on October 18, 2025, at 3:00 AM from Phnom Penh to Kep. After an early departure and a sweet nap on the bus, I arrived in Kep. I had a quick breakfast, did some warm-up exercises, and started the run at 6:30 AM.

I desperately needed this long-distance training for the upcoming 64km Kirirom Elephant Trail Running event. I had a strong feeling that these 10 hours would be a great source of strength for me.

☀️ Morning: Fresh Start and Running Reality

We began the run at 6:30 AM in Kep, just as the sun was rising. The goal was to complete as many laps as possible of the 10km in 10 hours, finishing by 4:30 PM. The unofficial goal was 7 loops (70km), and I thought I might be able to do it! Haha.

I started off strong, but the reality of long-distance running is always tough. Soon, the running turned into more "walking, and more walking." ๐Ÿ˜…

A fellow runner joked that I stopped running right after the photo was taken! Haha. They advised me not to burn too much energy early on, but I always want to start in the lead because if I start at the back, that's where I end up. So, I always try to run with the front group initially, and then naturally settle into my own pace.

Around 11:30 AM, I completed 3 loops, totaling 30km. The hot weather had drained my energy, and I felt completely exhausted. I took a break at a cafe to drink a refreshing coconut juice. Seeing other teammates resting made the temptation to quit a little.

But then, my guardian angel, the 'mom' of KKRC, Chenda Heng, appeared and told me it was time for lunch! Yay! I decided to recharge with a delicious meal.

๐Ÿฝ️ Lunch Refuel: The Delight of Cambodian Cuisine

Lunch was truly the best medicine. I devoured the delicious food, especially the Cambodian traditional fish curry soup, marveling at its deep flavor.

The variety of dishes filled my stomach, and the restful break was a lifesaver. It reminded me once again: "You have to eat well and rest well to finish the race!"

๐ŸŒง️ Afternoon: A New Experience Running in the Rain

As I prepared to set off, rain began to fall heavily. Chenda Heng said that running in the rain actually helps reduce fatigue and run well.

While it felt refreshing, I was both excited and a little nervous, as it was my first time doing a long run in the rain. I couldn't run on the downhill sections of the National Park's cement road because I was afraid of slipping, so I had to walk carefully.

Since I had eaten so much, I didn't dare to run, but I kept walking steadily without stopping. Sweating while running in the rain gave me a different kind of thrill. The smell of the wet forest, the sea breeze, and the ocean scent were all wonderful.

✨ The Thrill of Completion: 53km Run!

Time flew by, and finally, I completed my 5th loop, finishing a total of 53km!
My heart swelled with pride for setting a new personal record for the longest distance completed in a single run, especially after the early morning journey and the 10-hour challenge. Although I didn't reach the target of 70km, simply completing the 10 hours without giving up was enough. My legs are a little sore, but this pain is a badge of honor! Haha.

๐Ÿ’– A Happy Life Fueled by Running and Meditation

It was a long journey, but I was happy to finish it, thanks to the support and encouragement of my fellow KKRC runners.

I want to thank the KKRC organizing team, the cafe owner, and all the runners who participated. A special thank you to Veasna for the unwavering support and assistance.

And amazingly, tomorrow on Sunday, I'm scheduled to run the AIA Pink Run 10K!
Running two days in a row! My body might be tired, but I am truly grateful and happy to have this healthy body and strong mind to be able to do this.

I am happy to run, happy to be together with this community, and thankful for this joyful life! Look forward to my next challenge! ๐Ÿ˜‰

HOW TO LET GO

HOW TO LET GO

The habits and karma, which people have within their minds, do not disappear unless they are discarded.

The way to let go is to eliminate the habits, karma, and body that are within one's mind.

For example, if you have hatred or an enemy in your mind, it disappears when you eliminate the karma, habits, and body, and all that is in your mind also gets discarded.

When you eliminate the habits and karma, which are the human mind, you can become the true mind, which is Truth, and can be free and liberated without suffering or burden.

You can be reborn in the Land of Truth and live forever.

You are a high influencer for running and meditation.

You are a high influencer for running and meditation.

๐Ÿ‘‹ We see you crushing your goals, and we want to say thank you for being such a great example!

You perfectly show how being a runner and a meditator work together. It takes real strength to run those hard miles, but it takes even more strength (the quiet kind!) to sit down and meditate.

You never give up, and that "finish strong" mindset is amazing. Keep showing us the way! We're proud of you! ✨
