Silk Island Eco Trail Run - it was a challenge, a first step, and a personal journey.






🏃‍♀️🧘‍♂️ Meditation & Running — March 23, 2025

On March 23, we participated in the Silk Island Eco Trail Run (6km/24km), organized by She Runs club.
It was more than just a run — it was a challenge, a first step, and a personal journey.

For one of us, it was the very first time joining a running event.
For three of us, the very first time running on a trail.

Since January 2, 2025, I’ve been practicing meditation at Phnom Penh Meditation Center.
Through meditation, I’ve slowly started to notice changes within myself:
🧘‍♀️ My mind feels clearer.
🌿 My heart feels lighter.
💪 I’ve begun to trust myself more.

So when this trail run came up, I didn’t hesitate — even though I was nervous, even though it was hard. Because I want to change. I want to grow. And I wanted to prove to myself that I can.

It was the first time I ever faced such a challenge — physically, mentally, both. 

Crossing that finish line wasn’t just about completing 24km. It was about overcoming the old me — the one who doubted, hesitated, and held back.

I’m grateful for the people who ran alongside me,
grateful for the strength I didn’t know I had,
and deeply grateful for meditation — which has been guiding me from within.

Here’s to more courage, more clarity, and new beginnings. 🌅

Together we can do it. 
We can do everything.

No more hate, no more scold, no more revenge, just forgive.





I used to hate the enemy,
my enemies,
10 years deep inside my mind
and it's like a ghost.

It was a bad dream every night.

So I want to arrange
whatever I lost.

But since I take this course,
I realized that my heart,
my feeling,
no more hate,
no more scold,
no more revenge,
just forgive.

So, this course is amazing
Just tell you that very amazing.

So really thank you, Sunny
for guiding me
from the beginning.

Why do I keep repeating negative thoughts?





"Why do I keep repeating negative thoughts?"

Have you ever noticed how the same negative thoughts come back again and again?

"Every day, I ask myself a question..."
"Am I negative or positive?"

"Do I see problems... or possibilities?"
"Do I complain... or do I create change?"
"Do I focus on what's missing... or what's already here?"

"Sometimes, I get lost in doubt."
"I overthink. I fear the worst."
"I compare myself... and forget my worth."

"But then I remember..."
"I have made it through every hard day so far."
"I can choose how I respond."


"It's not about being positive all the time..."
"It's about choosing hope, even when it's hard."
"It's about showing up, even when I feel low."


"So... am I negative or positive?"
"Maybe I'm both."
"But every day, I try to be a little more positive than yesterday."

"Am I negative or positive?"
What do you choose today?

"It’s a daily choice, but one that’s worth making."
"It doesn’t happen all at once — but it starts with awareness."

The more you discard a negative mind, the more positive your mind becomes.

It doesn't have to be the same as everyone else. 
We have the best time reflecting on ourselves for the realization of our dreams.

Now I stop thinking, but I take the action








Bunsong's Meditation Experience



Hello, everyone, I was so stressful before
because my business doesn't work well
during the pandemic times.

So I have some problems and insomnia
that I cannot sleep well.

My body, day by day, become sick and lazy.

Basically, if I look at myself in the mobile phone photo,
I can see my face looks sad and so dark.

And I also have
some human relationship problems
that even make me
my condition even worse.

So I'm thinking of the way
how to help myself as soon as possible.

So I choose, to do the meditation.
I do the meditation diligently,
like, two times per day.

And, sometimes I visit
the main center for some action meditation.

As the results, 
I can see some change on myself.
I feel released and getting slow down day by day.
And I feel happy.

Especially, I can notice myself,
like, I start to do some new habit,
such as doing exercise,
eating healthy food, get up early.

And I like writing a diary so much right now.

And beside the good habit,
I get getting off the some bad habit
that I have before.

I stopped drinking alcohol.
I stopped taking things for granted.

I like to think too much
without taking any action,
but now I stop thinking,
but I take the action.

I can see, like, I have
some change right now.
My face looks bright,
not really look like before.

And I want to say a big thank you to all the helpers,
to Truth Universe, especially Ms. Sunny,
that help me a lot so far.

I realized that meditation is time and how important time is.



Mika's Meditation Experience


I eventually found this meditation.
I went for a demo Sunny, 
who is the guide,
guided me through my first session
and explained to me what the meditation was about.

And she explained to me the seven levels
that you have to discard.

So basically, meditation taught me to clear my mind
Meditation taught me to have a more,
open mind.

And then I think the most important thing
I realized that meditation is time
and how important time is.

And when I looked at my life through meditation,
I've literally been wasting so much time.

So I started journaling
I followed Sunny's advice
I started journaling
I could see what I was doing with my time
I was wasting a lot of time.
Then I just started filling in the hours
one by one.

Eventually, my day was full
I would get up.
I changed.
I started getting up at 5:00 AM
to meditate for the 5:30 session.

So I did that for a while
and then I started adding a morning stretch routine
for 20 minutes,
and I did that for a little bit,
and then I stopped smoking.

I've always wanted to just stop smoking
and now I just stopped smoking
because I wanted to and I could.

And, yeah, I just feel much happier,
I feel much healthier,
I'm more positive,
I have a better outlook on life,
I'm more understanding,
I'm not so angry anymore.

And life just seems better and happier.
So yeah, that's how meditation changed my life.
